Hi! I’m Lori. My family and I live in Siem Reap, Cambodia, serving under Arising Light Asian Ministries, aka ALAM. This blog is my side of the story of our time here.
On this blog you’ll hear lots about my family – Mom & Dad, Ryan, Luke, Austin, Dallas, Heather, Carissa, Forrest, Alaina, and myself. Yup…there are eleven of us! There aren’t many dull moments around here.
My family…
ALAM is an Anabaptist organization focusing on starting a church of local believers here in Siem Reap, and encouraging the Christians already here. We are also involved in drilling wells to help with the need of good water, which is also a great way to open the door to share the Gospel of Jesus with the people of Cambodia.
